Puppies expected June 2013!

Deik
We've done it again, breed Mandi that is. The handsome sire is Deik, and boy does he have a great pedigree. If you thought Mandi's last litter was to die for, then you're in for a real treat with these beauties! Puppies are due June 2013, and there's already a waiting list of five. Once the pups are born, we'll start accepting deposits.

For more information on Deik, click here: Deik's profile & pics.

I'll keep you posted as things develop or feel free to contact me at 208-440-5209.

Here's Deik and Mandi side-by-side.

Anxiously awaiting news...

I know some of you are out there anxiously awaiting news about a new batch of puppies...so am I! What I mean to say is that I'm waiting on Mandi, pure and simple. She hasn't had a heat cycle yet so, in reality I'm posting about nothing. lol  I know, crazy, huh?

At this point, per our last vet appointment, we could be looking for her to cycle sometime the end of May, which in turn would mean fall puppies again. Best time of year, although my boys disagree because they don't get to take Mandi out bird hunting...

Check back in May, and if there's any further news I'll post it to keep all you potential pups owners informed.

It's been an eventful 8 weeks! All have now been placed with wonderful families that will love and adore these little pups as much as I have. Thanks for letting me share your pics!

What they're learning...

Oh wow, there's so much I could tell you about all the developments that have been taking place, but I just don't have enough room/time. So here's the short version of it.

  • They're eating soaked puppy food twice a day.
  • We've been working on feeding them in their own bowls so they don't have to fight for their food. End result is hopefully they shouldn't gulp their food when you're feeding them at home.
  • We've, since the beginning, been placing our hands in their food while they eat to ensure they aren't possessive about it.
  • They've learned to answer to the "here" command when called, and praised when they respond.
  • They've learned "mom" is no longer a milk wagon and have started playing with her.
  • They're in the beginning stages of potty training. We take them out first thing in the morning, after they've been feed, mid-morning, mid-afternoon, before dinner, after dinner, and before bed. Some of them have been whining to be let out, which is a great start!
  • They've also been learning the word "No".
They're making great progress and will be ready for their new homes starting Saturday, November 17th. I'm gonna miss them, but I know you, as the new owner, will love them just as much as I do.

I got a stick...I got a stick...

Look at me run fast!

It's a lot of work looking this cute!

You want us to come here?

Walk this way...

Ah, I stretch far!

Follow me, I know where the wabbit lives!

I get you leaf!

Hmm...I feel like someone is watching me.

That's odd, still feels like someone is watching...

Wait, she's right behind me, right?

This looks good.

Ha! They can't see me!

Hey! Where'd you go?

You're so cute I want to pinch your cheeks!

I play hide and seek!

Yeah, don't mind the grass in your way...

Ha! I'll pounce on one of them!

I want to tell you something...

No really!! I want to tell you something!

Ha! Now that was funny!

Stay? Okay...

Yeah, she won't quit holding me. It's a rough life here...

I tell you she has food in her pockets

Group picture...

That once again went well, you see the picture...

Hey, we're right here!

For some reason they all had to be in my lap

This was about when my legs started going numb...

But it was worth the cuddle time
